You can wake up and see cattle and horses on our working ranch. You can walk down our driveway and see the scenery of the Kansas Flinthills. You are a half mile from the Fall River Wildlife Area with its Public Hunting. We are also one mile from the Ladd Bridge where you can drop in your boat and/or Jetski and enjoy access to Fall River Lake.

My place is good for couples and solo adventurers that are looking for a unique experience in the country that isn't too far off the beaten path. This is a private building near the main farmhouse with its own living space, kitchenette, bathroom, and loft bedroom (queen).

Come calm your soul in the peace and comfort of a home away from home nestled in the Flint Hills of Kansas. Located on the east side of Tuttle Creek Lake and next to Carnahan Creek Recreation Area. An awesome get away for families, friends and couples. Manhattan is a 20 min drive for city fun. We can accommodate up to 8 people upon request for an additional $20.00 per head per night.

This home is so comfortable and your stay will be worth it for the lake views alone but this home also boasts new reclining couches, 1 king and 2 queen size memory foam beds, 2 bathrooms, new kitchen appliances, a great basement for entertainment and games, 65 inch smart tvs, plus an incredible outdoor and deck area with grill, surrounded by a fenced yard and water!

The Hideaway

The Hideaway is a unique off-grid campsite on the Kansas prairie in a copse of trees. You can enjoy the beauty of nature and the comforts of home. Inside this beautiful Belle tent there is a cozy queen size bed, a dinette equipped with place-settings for 2, a sitting area and a heater. Outside the tent you'll enjoy our kitchen with a smoker/grill and gas stove, dining area and fire pit. The eco-friendly bathhouse has shower, sink and composting toilet.
