Local activities include trout fishing, hiking, kayaking, mushrooming, truffle hunts, Waldara weddings, sightseeing in the Blue Mountains, Jenolan Caves, Kanangra Walls and Mayfield Garden. Located just a short 5- to 15-minute drive to hikes and lookouts of Wentworth Falls, Leura and Katoomba. Two Maples, a classic 1942 cottage set amongst a cold climate garden, will welcome you to slow down, rest and enjoy Blackheath. This is the kind of house where you’ll walk in and want to sink into the lounge in front of the open fire with a great book, where you’ll take your time cooking in the kitchen with the wood burning oven. We welcome you to our garden guest suite adjacent to Central Park, cozily situated at the back of the property; shaded by trees and hedges, with gardens and a small pond. The area is surrounded by a myriad of scenic trails, spectacular waterfalls and stunning lookouts. Enjoy the extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage-listed landscape right on our doorstep. There's one million hectares of wilderness, offering an abundance of places to explore and natural wonders to discover.
