Lone Star Cabin

Take it easy at the Lone Star Cabin. This cabin is located in northeast Texas in a country setting only 10 minutes from Interstate 30 in New Boston and 20 minutes from Texarkana. If you’re just passing through or needing a get a way this cabin is sure to meet your needs. 1 bedroom with queen bed, 1 bath and fully stocked kitchen. The sofa has a full size bed and loft has a twin futon mattress. There is also a washer and dryer. Outside there is a sitting area with fire pit and a charcoal grill.

Stroll through the gardens or walk in the woods. Relax on the porch or by the fire pit. There is a charcoal grill, mini frig, microwave, and coffee pot, not a full kitchen. Arrangements can be made to enjoy a delicious farmhouse breakfast or steak dinner for two. (request at time of booking)

Maybe I'm a little partial, but I really have to pinch myself when I go visit Callie's cottage. Imagine...a beautiful country road, quiet except for the occasional sound of a cow. A cottage tucked into an abundance of trees, wrap around porch, flagstone firepit area, patio lights strung across the yard, antique mantle with gas fire, crystal chandelier, beadboard from an 1800's farmhouse, a tub big enough for two, the lushest bedding, classical music plays, sweets served. Deep sigh.
