The Chicken House in Yoder

Come experience our 1940s chicken house turned guesthouse! Includes Wi-Fi, kitchenette, smart TV, and super comfy bed. Even though the Chicken House is a tiny 300 sq ft, windows make it feel open and airy. A futon can accommodate one additional guest. Pack-n-play available upon request. Please note that the ceiling is low above the bed-- watch your head! The location is in our backyard. We live on the same property. Check out the companion property we also host-- The Little House.

Come unplug and get away for a bit on the farm! We welcome you to our quaint and private guest apartment, with a country vibe. Situated across the lane from our 100 year old farm house just outside of Yoder, KS. You will find yourself in the heart of Amish community. If you enjoy farm animals, this is the place for you.... horses, cows, turkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and plenty of farm cats and our faithful dog, Ginger can all be found. A simple breakfast will be provided.

With 3200 sq ft of living space it has room for large family gatherings. The original metal roundtop structure was taken apart piece by piece from a farm several miles away and reconstructed on this property. The finished product is a one of a kind, labor of love.
