Barn Stay at Shadowbrook Farm

Welcome to the Shadowbrook Farm Stay. Tucked in the hills of upstate New York, this 1700's Shaker barn has been restored into a beautiful guest house. It sits upon a two hundred acre working pasture raised meat farm. This barn was used to hold, and milk cows for two hundred and fifty years. Guests will have access to portions of the farm lands which are highlighted on the maps provided in the Farm Stay manual. If you follow the farm road, you are able to meet every farm animal on the property!

Woodstock, Kingston, the Hudson River and hiking trails 15 min away.

Enjoy expansive views of the Catskill Mountains from this renovated but rustic Scandinavian barn. Featured in many magazines and catalogues, including AirBnB Magazine. Walk the property, with its big open field, an organic orchard, walking paths, and flower gardens. A large private pond is swimmable (after heavy rains it does get muddy). The Barn has central heat and air conditioning. A full bathroom features an antique bathtub. Enjoy dining inside, or outdoor grilling and dining.

The Berghüttli: Glowing Swiss Hut in the Forest

The Berghüttli ("little mountain hut") is a Swiss-inspired hut and farm stay surrounded by National Forest in Goshen, VT (pop. 168). A completely private escape—no other structures in sight, just woods and quiet. A great place to slow down, reconnect and watch seasons change. The cabin sits on 55 quiet acres with no other houses in sight.
