Just a short walk down the hill is our Private rock beach On Lake Superior with a fire pit to get cozy and watch the sunset. The main cabin also has a fire pit for your enjoyment. This is a quiet place with whitetail deer being the only thing to come and visit. Occasionally you’ll see bald eagles fly overhead looking for their dinner. Walking trails.

Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. We purchased this house from our dear grandmother who loved her view of the bay, hence the name; Martha’s Bay View. You cannot beat the beautiful view of Lake Superior and the amazing sunsets. Not far from 2nd Sand Beach for swimming and picnics. Use this as home base for all the sightseeing our area has to offer. Fully operational kitchen with microwave, coffee pot/Keurig. No pets and no smoking. All bedrooms and bathroom on second floor.

Located on Portage Lake in Chassell, MI, near Houghton with quick access to Michigan Tech University, this rustic family cabin is a great place for either an overnight stay or a longer getaway. It provides a great home base for travel in the Keweenaw peninsula! As a 1930s cabin with a sauna on the lake along with a great view, the focus is on the experience! We find guests who truly enjoy our place are flexible with rustic conditions (not looking for Holiday Inn Express) and young at heart!

Bicycles are available as well as kayaks! Comfortably sleep 2 in the queen bed. Full size futon & cot also. Things to do are endless!

Tiny Home Glamping in the Keweenaw - 12 min to MTU

High-end glamping in the Keweenaw Peninsula. This tiny house/cabin features two lofts with queen-sized beds, a wood burning fireplace, dock with paddle boat on two acre pond, access to the Pike River and 20 acres of land for hiking and recreation. Cook in the kitchen or over the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy a wood-fired sauna and cool off with a dip in the pond. Bring a fishing rod and catch dinner out of the pond or the river! No running water but indoor composting toilet and a rain barrel/sink.

Beautiful home with 4 bedrooms on the waterfront. This is the best you will find. All the amenities - fast wi-fi, 3 TVs (satellite), full size kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking near the snowmobile trail. Mont Ripley is right nearby for skiers. Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. New grill added on 6/19/2020. The home is being updated as needed. From new oven mitts to anything else needing an upgrade. Check out the pictures. Otter House is a beautifully appointed log cabin in the trees overlooking Otter Lake. It is comfortably furnished with a well equipped kitchen. The lakefront has a small beach, 3 kayaks, a canoe, hammocks and a fire pit. Otter Lake is a tranquil spot with great fishing and very little boat traffic. Canoe up the Otter River or Kayak down to the dam. You will see eagles, beavers, turtles, loons, geese and if you're lucky an otter. There is a parking pad for your RV or trailer.
