A space to rest and relax in the Scottish Borders

Part of a Steading (barn) sympathetically converted in 2006, overlooking woods and fields from its own enclosed garden. The cottage is ideaI for exploring the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

The cottage is set in the grounds of the main house with it’s own drive and parking, garden and small patio. Ideal for those who enjoy walking, cycling and sightseeing and the tranquility of the countryside. Explore the many beautiful beaches and castles in Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. The train station in Berwick has regular trains to Edinburgh (approx 45 mins) and Newcastle (approx 50 mins). A car is essential for getting about as we are 4 miles from Berwick (the nearest town).

The garden is safe for pets and fully fenced. The cottage is a 15 minute drive to Cheswick Sands, one of the most stunning beaches in Northumberland. The cottage is the perfect base for exploring Alnwick, venturing to the Edinburgh Festival or visiting Holy Island. Our local pub is a 10 minute drive in Norham.

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.

It has a bathroom with over bath shower and one double bedroom.
