The apartment is located one block south of Piedmont Park’s leafy walking paths in Atlanta’s vibrant Midtown neighborhood. Some of the city’s trendiest restaurants, cafes, nightlife spots, and boutiques are just a stroll away. Atlanta's rail transportation called MARTA has its Midtown station on 10th Street just four blocks west with connecting buses at the station. Lyft and Uber are usually within a two minute wait any time of day or night so there is no need for a rental car. The streets are lighted at night and relatively safe for walking; however, just like in any major city, your attention should be focused on your surroundings and not on your smartphone. At just over 700 sq. ft., this one bedroom, one bath with full kitchen and laundry has plenty of room for two. The outside terrace is 300 sq. ft. and overlooks garden designed with a focus on Southern horticulture with Camellia, Hydrangea, Crape Myrtle, Rhododendron, Azalea, Hosta, Gardenia and numerous mature Japanese Maples. The location is in Central Midtown and a short walk to many bars, restaurants, coffee houses, two grocery supermarkets, numerous specialty shops and retail areas and of course Piedmont Park is 250 feet from your doorstep. In addition to Piedmont Parks jogging & biking, the Atlanta Beltline offers miles more with an entrance at the park and of course there is no charge for either Piedmont Park (except pool) or the Atlanta Beltline. Decor is an eclectic blend of family antiquities and modern comfort with a flair for the unique. We understand that you have many options for accommodation in Atlanta and we feel that it's about you, our guest. There are many great restaurants and shops in the area to enjoy and the MARTA train station is one block away providing direct access to downtown Atlanta. Our carriage house is also one block away from the MARTA train with a direct line to Downtown Atlanta for anyone visiting Atlanta and spending most of their time downtown. Forget about traffic and paying for parking. Stay in Decatur and take the 15-minute train ride into downtown instead.

Candler Park is a walkable Atlanta neighborhood east of downtown and just south of Ponce De Leon Avenue. It was one of Atlanta’s first suburbs and was founded as Edgewood in 1890. It's home to many talented people, plus some great shops, restaurants and bars. In addition to the reserved parking space in the main driveway, there is also free parking on the street in front of the main house. ~1 mile from two MARTA stations - Candler Park and Inman Park stations. Starbucks and Aurora Coffee within walking distance. Freedom Park path access to the Atlanta Beltline. The carriage house is directly behind the main house and has 1223A just to the left of the carriage house door. There is plenty of outdoor lighting and security cameras.
