It is newly renovated, but still keeps the character and charm that the Old Buzzard Verner designed. We call it Off The Grid Lodge because it feels like a lodge (not a house or cabin). Unplug and Unwind on the south facing veranda and listen to the subtle sounds of the nearby Etowah River.

Quaint rustic cabin in wooded setting. The property is on roughly 5 acres set back from the main road. It is adjacent to 15 acres of family owned walking trails we share with our guests. A perfect retreat for a family to reconnect with mother nature or just for a quiet getaway. Our guests love the fire pit and front porch swing. Basement level apartment has full time resident. Guests have own entrance and parking. No shared living spaces. Owners live on same property in separate house.

It is located in Dawsonville, Georgia with close proximity to numerous wineries, downtown Dahlonega, outlet mall shopping, wedding venues, and so much more. Our guest quarters can accommodate 3 people. For additional space for up to 4 more people in your party - we have 2 additional bedrooms and a bathroom in the main cabin through a private entrance that can also be rented at additional costs. Our home and facilities are in a private, wooded setting on the Chestatee River. We have walking trails, gardens, benches, artwork and outdoor areas to enjoy. We have 2 outdoor fire pit areas, both easy walking distances from the cabins.
