Bus Maia is one of Hotel Balu’s most unique private villas — a fully transformed 1999 Bluebird school bus redesigned into a spacious, artistic, air-conditioned jungle home. Retro Bus Playa Pelada Nosara

This is a no-frills, down to earth, re-purposed yellow school bus with handmade wood floors and desk and storage space. It has 3 single mattress's on the floor that you can use as a single, double or 3 beds. If there are more of you we can always set up a tent adjacent for an additional fee. The space has a private bathroom with basic kitchenette (fridge, stove, basics) and is surrounded by nature and also out of control development on the busy (sometimes noisy) main road to Playa Pelada.

We promise it will be difficult to leave. PS: it is highly recommended to have your own transport when staying here. 4x4 is ideal.
