In the summer you can watch colorful sunsets and in the wintertime witness the Northern lights in clear skies. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with everythink you might need for your stay. The apartment is located on a farm 7 km from Borgarnes and 80 km from Reykjavik. The farm is 1 km from road nr 1. The view from the apartment and the surrounding area is very beutyfull. We have horses, chickens and dogs on the farm. The horses are very friendly and love attention. This is a very good spot to view the northern lights from late august-april if the sky is clear we can usually see them.

Bern, the name of the house, is one of the most historic building in Ólafsvík. Originally built in the 1920's it's one of the oldest houses in the town but recently it has gone through a major renovation and is now in great condition. The house is positioned just off the main road and is in walking distance from most activities and restaurants in the town. With a view over the Breiðarfjörður to north and the historic Fisherman garden to south you won't be disappointed with the view

It's small, neat and tidy. It is perfect as a crash pad for people exploring Reykjavik for a couple of days. Please be know it is a small apartment and the bathroom is compact The bathroom is very very small and the shower is only 60 x 60 cm (its very compact).
