Since converting our old stables it has been very popular with people visiting York and Harrogate which are both 20 minutes away.We are lucky to have some lovely local pubs/ restaurants in the nearby villages (10mins away) Within half an hour you can be in the Dales or the Yorkshire Moors - walking, visiting a National Trust property, or sampling a local pub or tearoom. The Stables are clean, cosy and comfortable, with modern, light rooms. The views overlook farmland - beautiful in the evenings.

Spinney Cottage is a beautifully restored home located just outside the town of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale, a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and Harrogate. Built in 1883 and full of characterful features such as woodburning stove and exposed stone walls, the Cottage is very well equipped with BBQ, firepit, and outdoor seating. Set in 4 acres of gardens and woodland, guests can make the most of our peaceful location. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and those looking for a calming retreat.

The brick-built annexe is detached from the main house allowing privacy and a large garden area for dogs to enjoy.

Parking is available outside the cottage, and the train station is a mile away. Whixley has an excellent local pub The Anchor Inn , other local eating establishments are within easy driving distance. A warm welcome to Alice's cottage which is part of Priory Holiday Cottages, self-catering holiday cottage. Built on the historical site of Syningthwaite the cottages are named as such because of their close proximity to the Syningthwaite Priory. Each cottage is named after a Prioress that ruled the Priory during its life time. Alice's cottage is a spacious cottage which has its own private garden and BBQ. A hot tub can be added to the booking for £75 per stay.
