The closest boat ramp is located at Tinaburra which is only a couple of mins away. Yungaburra village is also a couple of mins drive and it is 15 min to Atherton and just over 1hr to Cairns.

The slow monday sits on the edge of protected forest (a cassowary corridor) just a stroll from the beach.
