Cedar Campsite - Forest Stargazing Sanctuary

The “Cedar” campsite is open to the sky, located in the middle of a meadow and surrounded by dense cedars, close to the ponds. The private spot sleeps up to four and features an outdoor kitchen, picnic table, solar light, potable water, a small portable propane BBQ, fire ring and an outdoor composting toilet shed. Bring your friends and spend time birdwatching, playing music, making art, canoeing on the ponds and exploring the forest. Please note that tents are not included.

18 campsites at Mountain Trout Camp, for a trailer, campervan or your own tent. MTC also has roofed accommodations and many amenities. 2 adults and 2 children included in base price. Additional guests $15/night. $20 pet fee. All campsites have a picnic table and a firepit. See photos for campsites/descriptions. Free Wi-Fi, cell reception around office. Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. Bring your own camping gear and stay with us at Kings Portage Park. We are a small family run campground. Two night camping bookings only on weekends and no large groups please. Wood and non motor boat rentals available on site. No wood allowed from outside the park to prevent desease contamination of the forest.
