There is a reef running parallel to the beach which makes for good snorkelling and fishing, also creating a lagoon during low tide which are perfect for swimming & other water activities. Take it easy here. This is simple living at it's best. Relax on the patio and listen to the birds. Away from the hustle and bustle of city life. No wi-fi (use your cell phone with local data), no TV. 500 steps to the lagoon. Safe, comfortable with all the home trimmings but rustic. Certainly not five star but by design. We have kept the original bricks and deliberately did not plaster them to keep the house rustic. Unsymmetrical paint too. 4 x 4 required for easy access to property from Bilene.

You can engage in various activities on site and in the surrounding area, like boat trip to Nghunghwa for Lodge, 10 minute drive to the Villa where you may find restaurants ,stores traditional artwork and clothing.

Our one bedroom units comprise of a bedroom and. en-suite bathroom. Situated close to the lake, the views are breathtaking especially during sunset. The lodge restaurant and bar are 200m away with amazing food and cold beer, overlooking the vast Lake Nhambavale. A vehicle with high clearance is required to reach Nhambavale Lodge, 4x4 is preferable.
