The Tropical Flower Lodge sits at the foothills of Mt Bartle Frere, surrounded by lush rainforest and vibrant tropical gardens. Our property is also a working flower farm, home to a wide variety of Heliconias and Gingers. The lodge is completely self‑sustaining. Fresh spring water flows though the property a gravity‑fed system, our on‑site waterfall generates clean hydroelectric power. Guests often tell us it feels like staying in a hidden, eco‑friendly sanctuary where nature does all the work.

This simple hut nestled into the rainforest is a birdwatcher's paradise! The property is entirely off-grid and is situated in a wildlife hotspot, with 100 acres of wet tropics rainforest connected to the World Heritage listed Maalan National Park. An ideal base for nature lovers to explore the Atherton Tableland, the bird list includes over 200 species, including Victoria's Riflebird, Blue-faced Parrot finch. Mammals include Tree kangaroos and Herbert River and Green Ringtail Possums.

Here a discrete self-contained one bedroom cottage in upland rainforest is surrounded by natural and established gardens, and at 1,160m provides a cool summer and cosy winter retreat. Uniquely the cottage integrates art within and outside. Contemplation, inspiration, privacy and comfort, are all to be experienced, along with exploring our forest and local environmental features.

Set on a hectare fruit tree orchard up in the hills of Germantown it offers fantastic views of the valley with Mount Bartle Frere in the background. Kick back and relax in our calm and stylish retreat, nestled amongst the rainforest with views to the ocean. Our much loved family cottage has been newly renovated with modern amenities. Please enjoy our homage to the history of beach-style hideaway, reminiscent of the 1950's in tropical Far North Queensland. We are close to many well known National Parks rainforest walks and Etty Bay which is a Qld Surf Life Saving patrolled beach with a stinger enclosure.

The Winston

The Winston is a beautiful old church in the retro town of Innisfail which we have been renovating for about a year. It’s about a 15 minute walk into town. The area has many attractions close by Paronella Park, Etty Bay where you will see cassowaries walking along the beach, Babinda Boulders, Josephine falls, the Mamu canopy walk, white water rafting in Tully and Mission beach just to name a few
