Sunset Ridge Getaway

Escape to this serene mountain getaway nestled beside a peaceful reflective pond in the heart of rustic Western Colorado. Surrounded by open space and mountain views in every direction, this secluded getaway offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature. Located 16 miles west of Glenwood Springs off I-70 with easy access to hot springs, ski resorts, and hiking and biking trails. All guests must be 13 or older due to safety near the pond. 4WD or AWD vehicle is often required during winter.

We are close to all that is Colorado; gold medal Trout streams, whitewater rafting, biking paths to Aspen and Vail, hiking to mountain lakes and waterfalls, soaking in the outdoor hot springs pools, hot air ballooning, hang gliding, skiing-both local at Sunlight Mountain, or Snowmass/Aspen/Vail/Breckenridge, golfing, breweries, dispensaries, and live music at outdoor restaurants under the bridge! The 'Lil' Cabin

Welcome to the cozy lil cabin where you can enjoy serene water views. The main floor of the cabin features a full kitchen, living room with king sized pull out couch, washer/dryer and bathroom. The upstairs sleeping area has a queen bed on one side of the catwalk and twin on the other. Please be aware the stairs leading to the sleeping area are steep and narrow. The cabin has an open concept layout. The lil cabin is conveniently located 5 min. from two grocery stores and 30 min. to Aspen.

This newly remodeled cabin is centrally located in Meeker, Colorado. From the view of the mountains right outside the front door and deck, you can walk a few blocks to restaurants, post office, hiking trails, and the White River Museum. Meeker's location in one of the most remote areas of Colorado makes it a perfect home base for heading to the surrounding public lands including the Flat Tops Wilderness and White River. It’s also a destination for the Sheepdog Trials and Mustang Makeover.
