Azalea Room at Magnolia Plantation

All rooms inside the main house have TV's, private baths, coffee makers. No children, pets or smoking allowed inside main house. Walking distance to many fine restaurants downtown and Depot Park in a quiet, safe neighborhood. This historic house was restored in 1991 and the owners live onsite. The Baird Mansion was built in 1885 and has been decorated with period pieces while being updated with modern comforts. The Magnolia Room is the home's master bedroom and is still the home's largest. It has an entrance foyer and a private bath. It is surrounded by windows and has a fireplace. Breakfast is not a part of your stay. We are licensed, inspected and in complete compliance with all life safety codes.

Jasmine is the 1st floor room in our inn. This room was the original library & still shows that 1885 charm. There is an antique queen bed with love seat and TV/DVD player. The Julia Room is located on the second floor of the extravagant McKenzie House, a Queen-Anne style Victorian home with a gorgeous wrap-around porch. With a King sized bed, intricately tiled bathroom including a walk-in shower, this is the perfect bedroom for couples (or single-travelers) who are looking for a quieter room.

The Heather room is bright and airy (with blackout curtains for when you want to sleep) that overlooks the pond and garden. The private bath has a walk in tile shower.
