Your apartment, with its own front door is attached to our home but feels very private. It is newly redecorated with an open plan kitchen, lounge, dining room. After cycling & exploring this wonderful region, take a swim in the shallows of the Clutha River (access at the bottom of our site) or relax in the sun on your own balcony. Elevated above the Manuherikia river with dramatic schist rock faces and river views, our spacious,and warm ground floor apartment is nestled next to the Central Otago Rail Trail, Matangi Station Mountain Bike Park, and walking tracks. Cafes and restaurants are a few minutes walk along the scenic river track passing the historic shaky bridge. The river track is accessed from our property. It is a 30min drive to Highlands Motorsport Park, and one hour to both Queenstown and Wanaka.

Hillside Retreat & Woodstoked Hot Tub

This unique place has a style all its own. Come and enjoy some peace and quiet admiring the outstanding views of Mount Benger in your own wood stoked stainless steel hot tub. The hot tub will be filled with fresh water and heated on request. There are several outstanding cafes locally along with the beautiful Clutha Gold Cycle trail. The Millers Flat Tavern is open for meals Pinders Pond is a local swimming attraction. Highland Bike hire in Roxburgh has ebikes for hire.

Cosy and Convenient

A private apartment with its own entrance attached to the main house. Private parking space and secure storage for bicycles, if needed. The apartment has a relaxing area with wifi, television including Netflix attached to a kitchenette with crockery, utensils, toaster, fridge and a microwave for heating pre-prepared food. There are no cooking facilities. A separate sleeping area contains a comfortable queen sized bed and ensuite. A friendly cat lives in the main house.
