Set on 12 acres this secluded little house is the perfect get-a-way place to enjoy some down time. Close to fishing at Lake Conroe this cottage serves also as a central point to enjoy some of the local wineries, visit historic downtown Montgomery, explore the Sam Houston National Forest or spend time at the Texas Renaissance Festival which is only 20 minutes away. The physical address and entrance road name has changed several times in the past few years so the GPS address may not work.

The Texian Cabin

Enjoy a unique 1700 sqft Texas themed log cabin in the woods! This 1.5 story home, located on a small family farm, has three bed rooms and two bathrooms with an open living room, dining area and kitchen. Toast marshmallows under the stars, grill burgers on the fire pit, play horseshoes or corn hole, lead your own yoga with our goats, collect eggs from the chickens, relax in a hammock, play tetherball, wander the woods, or head inside and dance to classic Texas country on the record player.

The Loft at the Honey House - BeeWeaver Honey Farm

Unique, comfortable urban style loft located in a commercial honey extracting and packing facility on our honey farm. We renovated our office space on the second floor of our Honey House to make a memorable one of a kind vacation stay on our farm. Sleep above where we extract and pack our honey, sit on our screened in porch and enjoy a beautiful view of our farm, visit WildFlyer Mead's tasting room, picnic and BBQ, stroll through our community garden, and shop at our historical honey shop!

Relax and recharge on our secluded 20-acre property. Our tiny 1920s cottage was built in the historic Heights neighborhood, northeast of downtown Houston. I purchased it from the great grandson of the original owner in 2010 and moved it to where it now resides. It has since been renovated, but the structure and interior walls haven’t changed. You won’t find painted sheetrock, but instead you will see the original boards, full of flaws and lots of character.
