The sleeping area, situated upstairs and accessible via a bit narrow, winding stairs, features three comfortable beds separated by curtains for added privacy. Beautiful, warm and cosy cottage for 2 people. It's located in the countryside 18 km from the town Egilsstaðir on road 931. It's on the south side of the lake on the way to Hallormsstaður the biggest forest in Iceland. The next grocery store is in Egilsstaðir. Good paved road, passable all the year. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful landscape, nice hiking trails down to the lake or up to the hills, good place to see the northern lights in wintertime.

The cottage is on a small and quiet family run farm, 8 km to the town Egilsstaðir. These small houses are cozy and heated with geothermal energy, the cottages can be booked all year around. We provide linen, towels, tea and Coffee for no extra charge. The surrounding area consists of a river, trees, northern lights, beautiful nature and during the winter time you might even see some reindeers wandering around.

Our Honeymoon cottage is the perfect place for those who seek a genuine Icelandic experience with a private hot tub overlooking the fiord. The cabin is just a couple of minute drive from Seydisfyordur. You might even spot some whales while having a bbq. Don’t miss to hike and visit Vestdalur waterfalls that is a short walk from the cabin. The cabin is provided with dvds, books and vintage video games.

Húsin er staðsett um 3km frá Höfn, útsýni til fjalla og jökla. Tilvalin gisting fyrir fjölskyldur eða þá sem eru að ferðast saman. Húsin rúma fjóra fullorðna. Eitt barn yngra en 12 ára dvelur án greiðslu þegar notuð eru rúm sem eru til staðar. Frítt wifi er á staðnum.

In Fljótsdal next to the farm Hóll in Norðurdalur is Hólshýsi. A cosy cottage that is surrounded by endless adventures and sounds of nature and wildlife. Close to countless highlights such as Hengifoss, Hallormstaður, the Wilderness Center and Laugarfell.

Gíslastaðir - Cottage

The cottage is located near the owner’s farm with lovely views over the nearby stream to the mountains behind. It is around 12 Km from Egilsstaðir and is well situated for exploring the spectacular nature of East Iceland. The farm offers horse riding.

Sæberg, comfort in the fjord

Newly renovated building set in the fjord of Seyðisfjörður, 7 km away from the town centre. The house was a school in the older days but has now been given a modern design with beautiful views and the feeling of being away from everything.

Summer house/cabin

The house is 50 sqm. with all equipment for a pleasant stay in the East. In the kitchen you will find everything necessary to cook. Around the house is a patio to relax with your morning coffee or watching the sunset in the night.

Our home is old and quite small but very cozy. It is located by the seaside in our small village with a view over the fjord; the sea and the mountains. Please note our village is a bit out of the way of the Ring Road.
