Beautiful barn style self contained home, set in a rural location in stunning Wiltshire countryside, with far reaching views from every room. tastefully decorated, and well appointed. Please note that the only bathroom is en suite to the main bedroom. So we say our property is better suited to a couple rather than a family or two families. If you are sharing with children or another adult, then do bear this in mind. Guests of three manage fine though, esp family. we dont advise 4 guests

The Pigsty

The Pigsty is Winchester's first luxury woodland hideaway, with beautiful views of Vale Farm. Less than 2.5 miles from the historic centre of Winchester, this peaceful retreat is perfect for those looking to visit the city, or escape for some peace. The Pigsty’s domed design with wooden interior has a roll top bath, cosy open plan living space and decking area to enjoy dinner with sunset views. Just a few minutes walk from the famous Clarendon Way, and a 30 minute walk to the city centre.

Old Chapel Wootton Rivers

A beautifully renovated, wonderfully positioned converted chapel with large private garden in one of the area's prettiest villages. Wootton Rivers is within the North Wessex Downs Area of Outstanding Natural beauty, with beautiful walks along the Kennet & Avon Canal, the Ridgeway and Savernake Forest. The village has a 16th century thatched pub, very close to the Chapel. We are also on the National Cycle Network route 4 and near to great restaurants such as Stein's, and Dan's in Marlborough.

The North Transept

The North Transept is part of our converted Victorian Gothic church. We've done all the conversion ourselves - the high ceilings and beautiful Gothic windows make it a unique space. It's in a small hamlet in a beautiful hidden valley surrounded by fields; there's lovely walking from the door and lots of local wildlife including roe and muntjac deer, pheasants, red kites and owls. It's easy to get to a wide range of local attractions like Lacock and Avebury and only half an hour to Bath.

Enjoy countryside walks in the beautiful surroundings or explore the mystical Avebury, the market town of Marlborough or the pretty villages along the Kennet and Avon Canal. At the end of the day cozy up in front of the log burner or spend the evening in one of the local pubs or restaurants.

A further folding bed is available on request. Off-road parking is available at the property.
