The Cottage

‘The Cottage’ in Irchester is a tiny getaway for a couple. It consists of a bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a double bed, tv, Roku, freeview box, small dining area with crockery and cutlery should you wish to have a take-away, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini fridge. There is a shower room with a walk-in shower. Outside you will find a courtyard with a seating/dining area under a large gazebo. This will be for your private use. There is private parking on a gated gravel drive.

Our best kept secret is Northamptonshire - 'the county of squires and spires'. An Ideal base for working locally: hotels can be too impersonal. Nearest rail, Wellingborough. Host lives next door.

Spacious, characterful and cosy barn conversion next door to our cottage in a lovely rural north Bedfordshire village. A large comfortable living room with log burner and a kitchen stocked with all the food essentials for breakfast including home made bread. The bedroom is spacious and there's a luxury shower room. Private access is via a side gate and separate private entrance. Lovely village pubs and a shop are a short stroll away and lots of other great places to eat are nearby

Charming self-contained annexe

The Pod is a charming self contained 1 bedroom annexe set in the beautiful grounds of Greys Manor in the picturesque village of Podington, on the Bedfordshire/Northamptonshire border. Comprising of a fully equiped kitchen, dining table, sitting room area with 2 large sofas, coffee table and TV with full access to Sky and Netflix There is a large first floor bedroom with a King size bed. A modern shower room with toilet and wash basin is located on the ground floor.

The Old School House Annexe, Irchester

Beautifully refurbished internal annexe within what was the village school (1840). Sole use of annexe. Wifi, TV, DVD player, printer, well equipped kitchen inc washing machine, freezer. Irchester is a village three miles from both Rushden and Wellingborough. Pub, cafe, shop, a short walk, Country Park less than a mile. Easy reach of Northampton, Bedford and Milton Keynes. Guests have access to the owners’ garden. Please note we do NOT take dogs or young children.

The bedroom is usually a superking size bed but it could be made up as 2 single beds. Please let us know if you would like 2 single beds. Locally there is choice of restaurants, pubs and shops along with open countryside, walks and a country park with sailing, boardwalks, cafe and bird viewing hides overlooking the lakes.
