Originally built in 1919 to house two massive fog horns, the Fog House has been transformed into a relaxing space for two. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Our cottage is just a few feet from a sandy beach with crystal clear shallow waters, perfect for swimming, kayaking or paddle boarding. Great opportunities for road or mountain biking near by, hiking, fishing, skiing or exploring the beautiful Keweenaw peninsula. There is a cement boat launch that leads to the beach that could be used for a small boat. Enjoy magnificent views of Lake Superior and magical starry night skies.

Grandmas Cabin

Beautifully appointed cabin has every amenity of home. Massive stone fireplace greets guests after a day on the snowmobile trail or making turns on the ski slopes. Fully equipped kitchen means you don't have to eat out. Dedicated laundry space. Large master bedroom with master bath and a large walk in shower. Second bedroom and separate bathroom. Large open great room. Relax by the fire and watch the snow fall. There is parking available for snowmobile trailers.

A spa in the heart of the Keweenaw

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place. Stay in the heart of Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula, not far from beautiful Lake Superior, Copper Harbor, and downtown Calumet's National Historic Park. We have added a “spa” room in our basement that has a large steam room/sauna, a Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and full bathroom. Our house does not have a TV but we do have awesome Spectrum wifi. There’s also in floor heat and central air conditioning! Sorry no pets.

This charming and historical stay is set in the picturesque lakeside town of Eagle River. Just out your door is Lake Superior, a beach, river gorge, waterfall, sunsets & stargazing. This is a lovely, spacious, and private 2-story guest quarter with private entrance. 1st Floor: parlor (living room); kitchen; half bath; and a screened-in front porch with a lake view. 2nd Floor: a spacious guest room (with windows for a lakeview and lake breeze); full bath.

Our Agate Harbor Lakeshore Family Cottage

In our family for the last five decades, this homey Lakeshore cottage is prepped and ready to host newcomers to give them a taste of our Keweenaw Peninsula paradise. Enjoy a private beach with bonfire ring, recently renovated deck with furnishings, fully equipped kitchen and three bedrooms (with comfy King, Queen & Twin beds). Centrally located between Copper Harbor and Eagle Harbor, each just a short drive away.
