Location is the key with this beautiful home! Nestled quietly in the woods on the base of Spirit Mountain. Walk out the back door and enjoy a multitude of things to do including mountain biking, down hill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and much more. Across the street is the Munger Trail for those that prefer to bike and hike on pavement. The St. Louis River is located right down the road for boating, fishing, or kayaking. Lake Superior is within a short 10 minute drive.

Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of private bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor wood burning fireplace. Outdoors: both gas & charcoal grills, firepit, firewood, a swing & picnic table. You'll see birds at the feeder right outside your window, plus plenty of deer and eagles right out the front window. The nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $10 fee/night/each additional guest.

Sit on the deck and listen to the loons in the summer or warm up next to the woodstove or in the barrel sauna in the winter. Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

Off Grid cabin, Cozy, warm up by the fire.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.
