The Conductor's Cottage, escape to Waterval Onder

The Conductors' Cottage is a converted railway house that offers beautifully furnished accommodation for up to six guests. Set in the grounds of the main farmhouse, there are three cottages in total. The Conductor's Cottage has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, lounge & outside deck area to enjoy. There are views of the hills of Mpumalanga Province as you sit on the verandah. We are a working farm with resident sheep, geese & pigs. We also have four boxer dogs that are part of the family

Notably, it is one of the few properties within the estate that features an indoor swimming pool, but not heated. The house comprises five bedrooms: 4x king bedrooms (two of which have extra-large king beds, all with en-suite bathrooms) and 1x additional overflow bedroom with a queen bed, also with an en-suite bathroom.

Two hours from Johannesburg, and one and a half hours from Pretoria, High in the Mpumalanga Mountains. Hackle is quietly situated on a mountain estate that is home to many wild birds and animals. It boasts 4 trout fishing dams. There's a SPA at the hotel. Putt Putt, swimming pool, tennis court, and many more fun things to do. We have about 12 Kms of farm roads before you enter through the big Kloppenheim Hotel estate, which is where we are situated. We have an inverter for load shedding.
