Plockton - Unique Thatched Cottage

This truly unique thatched cottage enjoys a central yet peaceful location in the the beautiful village of Plockton. The cottage sleeps two in studio style accommodation, with shower room and a well equipped kitchen. It is close to the loch, perfect for kayaking, and just a short stroll to pubs, restaurants, shops or even seal trips, the location is perfect. It is truly unique and centuries old, but has modern comforts throughout and even its own off street parking, a rare find in Plockton!

Bothan Bheag ( Gaelic for the Little Bothy).

Purpose built 4 x 6 metre cabin, fully insulated with electric heating for all year letting. comprising a double bedroom, kitchen & seating area with spacious shower & bathroom. The kitchen includes an under the counter fridge freezer, 2 ring hob, air fryer and microwave for simple meal preparation. This is not a pod style construction. it's light and bright throughout the building. We have included a bench for seating outside. Modern design, comfortable furnishings & tastefully decorated.

Lovely modern cottage close to Plockton and Skye

The Byre is a lovely renovated barn. It's a 10 minute walk to the beach and train station, and a 5 minute drive to Plockton or Isle of Skye. Discover the great outdoors right here on your doorstep or enjoy some great restaurants and pubs in Plockton. The cottage offers 1 double bedroom and 2 single beds up on the mezzanine. The Byre is modern, cosy and well equipped. Including Wifi, Netflix, underfloor heating, lovely Nespresso coffee, a bbq/firepit and outdoor space. Pets are allowed.

Cabin

Spacious cabin with lovely views across the water to the hills Located in a quiet area. Close to all amenities,only 7 miles from the bridge Private space with parking. Breakfast supplies include,eggs,cheese,cereal,fruit,juice,bread,butter,marmalade,tea,locally roasted coffee,milk and oatcakes Please note,google maps is incorrect for the last 100 metres. At bottom of junction turn left (not right as directed) Then first right 30m after Ardcana sign Parking 15 metres down drive on left

The Cabin With a View

A spacious cabin which is within walking distance to all local amenities (swimming pool, shops, restaurants & bars). It is approximately 10 mins walk to the nearest bus depot & local train station. Ideally situated for exploring the hills and mountains round about. The bridge to the Isle of Skye is only 1 mile away and the hills of Kintail are within easy reach at about 15 miles. The quaint, picturesque village of Plockton is close by and the historic Eilean Donan Castle 8 miles away.

Captain's Croft

Small original croft house in the heart of the Highland village of Plockton. There are coral beaches and dramatic views from the many forest and hill walks. Perfect base for people wanting to explore the Isle of Skye, Applecross and the surrounding area. The croft comes with a fully equipped kitchenette and wet-room all with underfloor heating. Restaurants and local pubs within easy walking distant. The accommodation has its own driveway. Pets welcome. Basic groceries supplied.

Bothan dubh (Black Bothy) We are situated in Badicaul which is a 5 minute drive from the Skye bridge and a 10 minute drive in the other direction to the beautiful village of Plockton. Relax and unwind in our peaceful, self contained studio with en-suite bathroom. Enjoy amazing views from the studio looking over the sea to Skye. Centrally located for exploring with Plockton 5 miles away, Kyle of Lochalsh 1.5 miles ,Skye bridge 2 miles away & Eilean Donan Castle 10 miles away.

Minimum of 48 hours notice required , tub is cleaned, emptied, refilled after filter changed. Decking / garden with mountain view of Skye. Nice walks close by. Not far from the 5 sisters of Kintail. Ideal base for hill walking/ wild swimming / paddle board. Near Skye & Plockton and Eilean Donan

Plockton, Camus Fearn Barn

The Barn is set in the crofting area a mile from Plockton village and is formed by the conversion of the byre and hayloft at Camus Fearn. The décor is modern with tiled and wood floors, rugs and lots of windows. Accessed along a quiet road. It enjoys panoramic views and is surrounded on three sides by sea lochs and the mountains of Skye, Applecross, Torridon. There is private parking area and a decking with plenty of room to sit out.

Croft House Bothy in Heart of Highlands

Featured in the Guardian Travel's "10 of the Best Wilderness Holidays in Scotland" get back-to-basics in this beautiful old croft house bothy, hidden on a hillside between the Five Sisters of Kintail and Eilean Donan Castle. With no running water or cooking facilities, this is not for the faint hearted. Bathe in a cold mountain stream, see the stars in the dark night sky, feel the heat from a crackling fire, listen to the waterfall.

Isle of Skye Cottage

The charming village of Kyleakin, situated on the Isle of Skye, offers a picturesque and peaceful retreat for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Nestled in the heart of Kyleakin's historic district, the Isle of Skye cottage is truly a gem. This fisherman's cottage, built in the early 20th century, is filled with original stone work and wooden features, giving it a cozy and authentic feel.

The Little Skye Bothy

We have replaced our Little Skye Bothy in 2022. Same view but a little more space and you still have your own piece of tranquility with outstanding views to the loch and the mountains. There will be more photos to follow soon. The pod has kitchen facilities, 2 ring hob and microwave (no oven). There is a shower room, breakfast bar and stools, TV and wifi is available.
