Tucked away between the hills of Reaboro Ontario, this 175+ year old pioneer log cabin has been brought back to life with the comfort of all new modern amenities, while still keeping the rich historic character of its past. The cabin homestead was crafted in 1847, before Canada was a country. With your significant other, family or friends, come cozy up to the fire, soak in the hot tub and enjoy swimming in the spring fed pond. Board games and movies are provided for your entertainment.

Get off grid and disconnect to reconnect at our luxurious and exclusive spring fed lake waterfront cabin. Forest bathe in the sounds of nature while relaxing on the porch or on your private dock. Please note cabin is COMPLETELY OFF GRID. NO RUNNING WATER, NO SHOWER. Endless potable water is provided for cooking and drinking. Solar generator and battery powered lanterns throughout the cabin for light at night. Pretty and modern outside bathroom (outhouse) located steps from cabin.

The cabin facing the river. It is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. Bedroom 1: has a Double with a single on top. Bedroom 2: has two singles bunk. Living-room has a sofa bed. The cabin features a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, large air-fryer , microwave and a Keurig coffee maker. Hiking, ATV, Snowmobile trail runs right behind the cabin for all year fun. A/C in the summer and fully winterized. Unlimited STARLINK Wi-Fi. "NO PETS" policy.

If you enjoy hiking, you can go for a private hiking experience on our private trail (4-5km), check out Silent Lake Provincial Park (20 min) or Algonquin (1 hour) to enjoy the beautiful Canadian nature. Spacious Family Cabin, Hot Tub & Pet Friendly!

Getaway with the whole family, including your pup! Tucked away in a forest with a large deck overlooking the pond, everyone can enjoy. Ammenities include an oversized sofa, extra large flat screen, gas fireplace, and beautiful kitchen. Please note, the owner Russell does reside in the lower unit from May-early January. The home will be completely private from mid January to the end of April. Please message us if you have any questions about your dates!

The Nook, Peaceful Retreat: Lake+Hot Tub+ Sauna!

Heritage barn turned zen-den! Our open-concept, loft style, timber-frame cabin has exposed beams, barn board walls, and plenty of windows to enjoy the lake view. Decorated with a beachy boho meets mid-century vibe, it's cozy and airy at the same time! The private deck offers the perfect place to listen to the birds and read a good book. The Nook is on our 1 acre, lakefront property, alongside our home. We hope you love it here as much as we do!

Retreat style cottage + wood fired sauna

A private lakeside retreat with all-day sun and sunsets, featuring the main cabin, wood sauna, kayaks and rowboat, private shoreline and docks. Unlimited WIFI, a fully equipped kitchen, two fire pits, docks, excellent swimming (clean and weed free) on a private forested property. It is 15 minutes to Haliburton with many stores. Bedding and towels are an additional fee of 30.00 per bed. Please inquire. Long weekends are 3 days/nights minimum.

Fully renovated on Scott's Vacation House Rules in 2022, and aired on May 2023. Just a two-hour drive from Toronto, the cabin is the perfect place to relax year-round. Sandy Lake is the jewel of the Kawarthas, perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking, swimming in the summer, and skating and exploring in the winter.
