Our no-frills shepherd’s hut sits by the Drava River and a big wild meadow, just 4 km from Ptuj, Slovenia’s oldest town. Nature lovers (and friendly dogs) welcome! A nearby road offers easy access. Enjoy a BBQ lunch by the river, then relax as the sun sets, frogs sing, and stars light up the night sky. For the full countryside experience, earplugs are optional! You arrive by boat. No road, no car, no traffic — just a red cottage on the water in a village that time forgot, and the boat is yours for the whole stay (no licence needed). Two bedrooms, a fireplace, a covered terrace over the lake, and a garden of old trees with a wood-fired pizza oven and BBQ. Kayak and paddleboard included. Transylvanian Farmstay is a woodcabin located on an ecological beef cattle farm. The cabin itself is on a 1.5 hectare fenced property in the vicinity of a 0.5 hectare fishing pond. The woodcabin with a has a big terrace, a natural recreational pond, a wooden hot tub and a dry sauna. On the neraby property you can see a few sheep, fallow deers and a poney grazing around. The cabin has a double bed and an extendable sofa so it's suitable for up to 4 people.
