Be immersed in the peace and quiet of a Tuscan olive orchard by staying in this stone farmhouse which features traditional architectural elements such as terra cotta floors, vaulted ceilings, and original wood fixtures. Dive into the plunge pool with sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea. For adventurous travelers who will appreciate the 10-minute panoramic walk to the house (we will transport your luggage and groceries by tractor). The magical view of the world below with the coast on the horizon which can be enjoyed from every room of the house and from the entire olive orchard with its walking paths and plunge pool with waterfall. Being a pedestrian village, Metato is quiet and peaceful. Yet, the beach and many great places to visit are a short drive away- Pisa, Florence, Lucca, the marble quarries of Cararra, Pietrasanta, Viareggio.... Guests have exclusive access to the pool and property. Metato is a friendly litttle village in the hills overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. There is a quaint family-run restaurant in the village that serves local homemade dishes at a very reasonable price. Our pedestrian village tends to attract kind people in search of peace and quiet and a proximity with nature. Time seems to go by more slowly here. It is a perfect base for families who want to explore Tuscany and the beaches of the Versilia coast. The home is in a beautiful, quiet location on a hill surrounded by olive orchards and vineyards just a 10-minute walk from the parking lot. Explore the medieval village of Metato where fireflies and breathtaking views await. Take an invigorating hike or head to the beaches a short drive away. There is a parking lot at the base of the village where you can park the car. The village itself is pedestrian but I am happy to greet guests at the parking lot on their arrival to transport their luggage, groceries and whoever wants to ride to the house with my little Italian tractor! The nearest airport is Pisa (45-minutes by car). All the major car rental places can be found there. The nearest train station is Viareggio.

The house has 2 bedrooms (one double and one with 2 single beds) and a comfortable double sofa bed in the living room. Equipped with air conditioning, fast connection wifi, smart TV, microwave oven,toaster,4-burner gas stove and electric oven,washing machine, iron. Barbeque on the terrace.

Un tuffo nel passato con tutte le comodità moderne per una vacanza rigenerante. Nel borgo di Casesi, in un'aia privata con case in stile rustico, c'è la nostra casa. Un rustico tipico della campagna toscana più volte restaurato. Ha un piccolo giardino con pergolato davanti all'ingresso con tavolo, sedie e poltrone per il relax. L'intera casa, recentemente ristrutturata, è arredata con mobili d'epoca. I pavimenti sono ancora in cotto originale, così come i soffitti con le tipiche travi in legno.

La casa è un rustico in pietra e legno nel parco delle Alpi Apuane, un luogo ideale per chi desidera fare camminate nei boschi e conoscere e frequentare le attrattive della Versilia e della Toscana tra mare e monti .. La casa è composta da cucina completa con fornelli a gas , wi-fi , divano letto e per riscaldamento per la stagione invernale ha una stufa a legna e pompe di calore preimpostate , una camera da letto con bagno completo con doccia, un soppalco di legno con un letto singolo .

We are in the park of the Apuan Alps, 18 km from the coast. To get here you will need to walk for 1km, and go up a dirt road for 1,5km by car. La casa si trova in alta collina a circa 600mt slm ed è inserita all'interno di un piccolo borgo. Dista dal parcheggio del paese di Metato 1,5km, quest'ultimo tratto è un percorso stretto e ripido accessibile con piccole auto 4WD, il proprietario può mettere a vostra disposizione una fiat panda, da utilizzare esclusivamente dal parcheggio alla casa.
