Castleton lies on the western edge of the Hope Valley, within sight of Mam Tor and the limestone canyon of Winnats Pass. Walking straight from the room into the gorgeous Peak District finishing off with a drink and meal in one of many walkable local pubs. The Cocktail Lounge (sleeps 2), spread over two floors, feels like a little house all in itself with a beautiful king size bedroom and stunning rustic bathroom and huge copper bath + shower, both opening onto a hallway with a winding staircase leading up to a really special little Cocktail Lounge in the loft, complete with a bar, an ideal spot for that pre-dinner G&T. The lounge area has a large flat screen TV, squishy sofa so it’s a lovely place to cosy up after an evening out too
