Shepherd hut -secluded riverside location

Our isolated shepherd’s hut is a cosy place with a large spacious shower and a comfortable king size bed. Recently fitted yet with some antique features. It has a private river view with its own private picnic table on the river too. There is a large garden area and private mooring. A porch area at the front and a cosy kitchen area to relax with a glass of wine or cup of coffee...we provide toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave and there’s a fire pit on request and a local Tesco very close by.

Charming refurbished Victorian cottage in a tranquil riverside setting with a private garden bordered by the River Cam/Granta on the old mill run at Whittlesford Mill. It is 6 miles from Cambridge, Duxford IWM is 2 miles away and there is a mainline station - Cambridge (10 minutes), London Liverpool Street (1 hour). The village has a gastro pub called The Tickell Arms, a restaurant called Provenance and The Red Lion. Saffron Walden is 8 miles away where Audley End House can also be found.

Welcome to our newly redecorated, warm, sunny and spacious garden annex. Off street parking and a short walk home from a day at the races - Rowley Mile Course. (The July course is a longer walk), or a 3 minute taxi ride from the High Street restaurants and Newmarket train station. When travelling we always appreciate a comfortable bed, fresh linen, a decent hot shower, large fluffy towels and being able to make a tea / coffee when we arrive. I'm about a mile from the train station, 10 minutes walk from the City Centre and 20 minutes walk from the leisure park with cinema and restaurants. My house is child friendly and a great base to explore Ely, Cambridge or even London
