Unwind completely in this detached private lodge, overlooking a natural pond, abundant with wildlife. Breathe the fresh air. Listen to the birds. Relax. Within 10 minutes walk there’s a butcher, baker, deli, cafe and restaurants.  Lovely walks across open countryside lead to some of the best eateries in the area. Built in 1634, the Barn is on the edge of a village 5m from Market Harborough in Leicestershire. Converted in 2017, it's on our property but separate from it. Light and airy, it's one room/open plan downstairs, with areas for cooking, dining and relaxing. French doors lead out onto a pretty courtyard garden, with stone steps up to a raised area, where you can watch the sunset over the fields. Upstairs there's a well-equipped bedroom and bathroom with far reaching views over the countryside.

THE OLD SUNDAY SCHOOL

The Old Sunday School is in the grounds of a Grade-II listed Georgian rectory, opposite a medieval church. It has been newly converted and refurbished in an open-plan contemporary style, and finished to a very high specification. It has a private entrance and garden and patio area. Guests have access to the hosts' seven-acre landscaped garden in an area of outstanding natural beauty. In the summer months [MAY-mid SEPTEMBER] guests will have shared use of the outdoor pool with the owners.

Stable cottage

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Situated on the outskirts of the historic village of castle rising, 5 miles from Sandringham, this idyllic peaceful cottage has been lovingly restored to provide a pleasant retreat. The cottage is double glazed, with a fully functioning kitchen. There is a small garden with plenty of space for your fur baby to exercise. Nearby in the village is a friendly pub serving meals throughout the day and a delightful coffee and cake shop.

Tucked away in a quiet conservation area of Fenstanton is Yew Tree Cottage - a 16th Century Grade II listed thatched hideaway. Guests tend to enjoy it's historic features coupled with modern amenities such as the recently renovated Kitchen and Bathroom. Nestle in front of the fire on a chilly night or relax in the buzzing garden on a warm day. Enjoy lovely local walks or explore the delightful city of Cambridge under 20 min drive away.
