You will truly enjoy the picturesque beauty of this setting right outside the city limits. The property has been designated as a Wildlife Habitat. You may occasionally see deer on the property and there is also a lovely spring fed pond. Elvis Presley spent time here on a few occasions. He rowed around the pond in a canoe and rode horses here. It is just a couple of miles to a sandy swimming beach at Lake Wappapello, the boat ramp at Chaonia Landing, and many hiking trails in Lake Wappapello State Park.

This charming home, situated in a safe, quiet neighborhood is 10 minutes from the WMA. Black River and Current River are close and ideal for duck hunting, fishing, trap range, and water sports. It is 2 minutes from all local restaurants, shopping, a paved, outdoor walking track, tennis courts/pool, and local airport. Our local community center offers golf, basketball, volleyball, weight rooms, racquetball, an indoor track, and a kids recreational area, located less than 5 minute from this house.

This is our family cabin. Our family farms soybeans, rice, and corn. We are too busy working during spring, summer, and some of fall to enjoy our cabin much. We are wanting to share our beautiful place for others to enjoy. It is located approximately 10 minutes from Poplar Bluff, MO. We live about 30 minutes away, so we can be available if needed. We have satellite TV and wi-fi. Cabin is pretty secluded nestled among the trees with the Black River flowing within 100 feet of the deck.
