Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, it's Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". One hour by car from Edinburgh, 35 mins from Lindisfarne and 45 mins from Bamburgh. If you'd like to leave the car at home and cycle to us it is 13 miles from the station at Berwick-upon-Tweed. Tucked away down a small lane, you can walk or cycle from the door or simply sit and watch the wildlife.

Entry to the property involves a set of stairs, and there are internal stairs connecting the two levels. This cosy country cottage is set on a beautiful farm in the Scottish Borders but is only 30miles south of Edinburgh and 15 minutes from amenities and historical attractions in local towns. Legerwood Farm has been in the family for 4 generations. This cottage was lived in by Mrs Moll, the farm's dairy woman in the 1950's. It has been lovingly restored into a cosy country cottage, perfect for a small family or a romantic get away but has all the home comforts needed for a comfortable stay.

The Black Triangle Cabin is a peaceful getaway situated on our property just outside of Jedburgh, a historic town in the heart of the Scottish Borders. The Cabin sleeps 2 people in a king size bed, with a separate living/kitchen space boasting views through the woods and across the fields. If you keep an eye out, you may see the deer that pass through regularly, or even hear our resident owl. Ideally located only an hour from Edinburgh, Newcastle and the St Abbs coastline.
