Fall has arrived, and we welcome you to our home in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley in Western Montana. This home design is a blend of the Bitterroot Valley and the Desert Southwest, with its timber-framed elements and courtyard. It is set just 3 miles north and east of historic Stevensville, and your room has a commanding view of the beautiful Bitterroot mountains. The home is set on 2.8 fenced acres with a coded gate entry. Our golden retriever, Rudy most likely will be your first greeter.

Two spacious bedrooms, a large bathroom, living room, and full custom walnut kitchen with all new stainless appliances and a laundry room. Very peaceful, secure and quiet. The road is a Montana style dirt road. When there is NO snow any car will make it up the hill. In Winter you will need a four wheel vehicle. We snowplow the road as necessary in winter. We are Pet friendly.

A 10 minute drive brings you to the Bitterroot River, known for its excellent fly fishing. Across the valley are numerous trail heads that lead into the Bitterroot Mountains. By renting with us, guests agree to the terms of the contract. 2 night minimum stay. No animals allowed due to pet dander that is difficult to remove, and severe allergies to it.

The Cottage at Farmstead Hollow

The Cottage is a sweet retreat in the foothills of the Bitterroot Mountains, 2 miles outside of Hamilton, Montana. We are a family of four living the good life on our small hobby farm. The Cottage is our vacation rental nestled into the center of our 5 acre property. Complete with it's own driveway and nicely fenced off from the rest of the busy goings on of the barnyard, it is separate from our space, but animal sights and sounds are sometimes a part of the experience.
