Riverwood Hideaway

This OFF-GRID, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. THERE IS NO RUNNING WATER and LIMITED ELECTRICITY. WE DO HAVE WI-FI. The kitchen has a propane refrigerator and gas oven/stove. Solar power is used for lights and some outlets. Propane fireplace / furnace for heat. The "bathroom" is an outhouse. You bring jugs of drinking water. Hand and dish wash water provided. We supply coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices and firewood.

A well equipped kitchen and walk-in glass shower enhance your stay. Beds include a full bed in the bedroom and two twin beds in the loft. Adults only. The lodging yurt is near the caretaker yurt which features a small studio for free private yoga which can be arranged in advance.
