Southend is perfect for fishing, sailing, swimming or just lazing on the beach. A surf beach is situated between Southend and Beachport. Southend has a small shop that is licensed and sells basic groceries. It has a takeaway fish and chip shop open weekends (6 days during summer).There is a local community club open weekends (open for meals in summer).Restaurants and other shopping is available in Beachport and Millicent, both a short drive away. We would like to stress this property is our own beach house. It is not resort standard accommodation. There isn't any air conditioning only fans and basic heating. Our pricing reflects this. It should be viewed as a comfortable base for exploring the area and other activities : fishing, boating, surfing and 4 wheel driving.

In fact we have decked it out with so much love...antiqued leather sofa, rustic home made tables straight from the shearing shed workshop. So much history there! Original art works by Jessie. Two Storey - North facing beach home 100 m to ski lake. Located a short walk into the Main Street and Mahalia coffee but away enough from the hustle and bustle. Stroll onto Hoopers beach or jump in the car out to long beach. The ski lake has a beautiful reserve where the kids can have a paddle whilst you cook a bbq. We really hope you enjoy your stay. Our newly renovated front yard is great for games on the lawn or perfect spot to have an afternoon beverage soaking in those rays.

The Loft at Beachport is a brand new, Hampton style luxury accommodation. It is within a short walk to the back beach, and an easy walking distance to the Main Street, shops, cafe, hotel and Rivoli Bay and jetty. It has provision to sleep six people comfortably, with two bedrooms downstairs, both with full ensuites, and another queen bed upstairs in the loft. The kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances. A huge deck is the perfect spot for relaxing with a private vista.
