A few miles away, you can walk the longest sand beaches in Ireland, marvel at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, take a ferry to the rugged Aran Islands or play golf at Lahinch Championship golf course.

Welcome to the Cottage at Doonagore Castle. Nestled alongside one of Ireland’s most iconic landmarks, Doonagore Castle Cottage has been painstakingly renovated by the castle’s owners, merging authentic 300-year-old features with modern amenities, to offer guests a unique vacation experience. The Shoemakers House is a recently renovated house at the back of Main Street, right in the heart of Ennistymon, accessed by a lane. The house is spacious and bright with an open plan kitchen/dining/living room area. The patio doors open onto a quaint yard paved with Moher flags. The house is tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. The two main bedrooms have king beds and there are two single rooms, all with comfy mattresses. It is an ideal base to enjoy all the area has to offer.

My home is situated on a quiet country lane 5 minutes drive from the seaside town of Lahinch. The main living area has panoramic views of Liscannor bay. The house is on the Wild Atlantic way and a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, the links golf courses in Lahinch (5km) and Doonbeg (25km). Home to Jon Rahm, winner of the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open in 2019. The house has been featured in BBC/RTÉ production #smother.
