Nestled among the drumlins of Strangford Lough, 1 mile from the charming village of Greyabbey.

The Little Birdhouse

Its name is both a nod to Bird Island on Strangford Lough and a reflection of our aim to create a cosy nest in which guests feel snug, comfy and relaxed. The cottage has recently been renovated but retains its historic charm. The furnishings are a mix of antique, vintage and second-hand finds that come together to create a cosy, relaxed, eclectic vibe that's stylish and reflects our commitment to recycle and re-use.

The Boathouse at Old Court

You have stumbled upon a hidden gem - The Boathouse. Tucked away within a private estate, yet conveniently located just a short stroll from the charming village of Strangford. Relax and unwind amidst the tranquil surroundings with the stunning views, boats gliding by and the fascinating wildlife. Originally built in 1852 as a boat repair workshop, the Boathouse has been restored into a snug waterfront retreat on the shores of Strangford Lough. An experience you will cherish forever.

Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.

The Stables at Ballyward Croft

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Why not book either a seaweed bath or lavender milk bath on arrival! This will be prepared for you in the private outdoor hot bath! You can bring bubbles and essential oils of your choice to this massive round bath and watch the stars in the clear uninterrupted skies… We have two Pygmy goats which can be viewed from your cottage, also 20 chickens will roam free and provide you with fresh eggs for breakfast.

The cosy cottage provides perfect accommodation for up to 4 people. You can enjoy the spa pool, sauna, and paddle boards whilst experiencing breath-taking views. The cottage is located a stones throw from the beach, with stunning views looking over Strangford Lough and the Mourne Mountains. Only 5 minutes walk is the village of Kircubbin, where there are pubs, restaurants and a supermarket. With the water so close, wake up to the sounds, views & smell of the sea.

Sitting on the shores of the Irish Sea, Keeper’s Cottage provides a comfortable base from which to walk, beachcomb, birdwatch and explore. Close to the villages of Portaferry, Cloughey and Strangford, the area is rich in wildlife and heritage. Or just relax by the fire and soak up the magic of this unique place. Our other cottage, which is immediately adjacent, sleeps 4 and people often rent the two properties together for larger groups.
