This cozy log-cabin was built by hand in 1929 and remains a living work of art. Located in the rolling hills of Homer, just 20 min. from Downtown, this stunning old homestead offers an authentic Alaskan experience with mountain views! Accommodations: 3 beds (1 Queen, 2 Twins), a full kitchen w/running water, modern Toyo heater and wood stove, a tidy outhouse, and a genuine Nordic Spa (sauna/coldplunge). Our Redoubt Cabin is located on the bluff with amazing views of the Cook Inlet. This cabin offers a bedroom with a twin over full bunk bed then connects to small bedroom with twin, and 2 twin beds in upstairs loft. Located 1 mile from Anchor Point River and 15 miles from Homer, the cabin is one of 5 on 5 private acres, with over 200 feet of space to the next cabin. Shared amenities include a gazebo with a firepit, griddle, picnic tables, fish cleaning station, hammock, and viewing deck.

Island Watch

A cozy spot for adventurers to crash. This mother-in-law style apartment is below our home just 3 miles from downtown Homer. We have kids, cats, dogs, chickens, bunnies, and two horses, it’s nothing short of an actual zoo/circus around here. While your unit is private, there will be any of the above mentioned running around in the yard at any given time. We can’t promise you won’t hear occasional footsteps but we will promise to “whisper yell” at our kids to not run in the house :)
