Doukenio-traditional stone house in Chora Amorgos

Doukenio is a traditional stone house that has been renovated in 2016. The building reserves most of its original architectural signs and it has a unique character. In the main building there is a small bedroom with a double bed built next to a stone and the living room with the fully equiped kitchen. Here we have a traditional sofa which can be converted into two single beds with normal mattresses. In the middle of the surrounding yard is situated the shower place (the ruins of an old oven -furnace) with the WC and there is enough space for relaxation outside. The house also has a veranda at the roof (fully equiped for resting) with unique views under the Medieval Castle and the aigian sea further away.

In the picturesque settlement of Xylokeratidi opposite the port of Katapola, it is located our sea view double room. The room can accommodate up to 2 persons and it has amazing views of the sea and the bay of Katapola. The location has emerged as the best hotspot of Amorgos, full of small sophisticated bars, restaurants with the latest trends in Greek gastronomy and so very close to the amazing sandy beach Maltezi.
