Welcome to our self-contained hilltop studio surrounded by fields and panoramic views over the Northumbrian coast. A place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Wildhope View: A detached, characterful, stone cottage - especially for two. Located in the historic hamlet of Bilton, a stone’s throw away from the vibrant village of Alnmouth. A wonderful spot from which to explore the rugged Northumbrian coastline, idyllic countryside and magnificent, enchanted castles. Wildhope View is a cosy, romantic retreat with spectacular views of the rolling hills of the Aln valley and the, “18 arches” viaduct built in 1849 by Robert Stephenson.

Our lovely house has been a labour of love. My partner, Richard, with help from his brother, has put his heart into renovating and remodelling the house to a style we love. My part was sourcing all the retro furniture, tiles and paint colours which happens to be one of my favourite pastimes! The house reflects our quirky taste and my love of mid century furniture!
