Come enjoy the peaceful setting of this property located on Barren River Lake. This cabin offers lots of patio and porch space to sit and listen to the boats buzz by. The cabin has 2 downstairs bedrooms one with a king bed and the other a queen. Upstairs in the loft is a full and two twin beds. The cabin is equipped with high speed WiFi, fire TV downstairs and a TV in the loft for gaming. The cabin offers All Natural USDA Beef for guest to purchase and have during stay. Our home is located out in country just off of I65 outside the historical little town of Franklin, KY. We are located between Nashville (45min), Bowling Green (35min) & Mammoth Cave (55 min). We are surrounded by rolling hills of farmland and horse ranches. It is a log cabin style home on 30 acres. Sit out on the front porch and watch the deer. Play games, read a book. Lay out by the pool (summer). Take a hike or go fishing down at the pond. Get out and explore! Or, you can just rest and relax.

Simply Sailing-A Cottage In The Trees

Simply Sailing is a quaint one bedroom, one bath cottage that sleeps four, located at Barren River Lake. The home has everything you need for your stay. Basic cooking utensils, a charcoal grill, TV with DVD player with movies and board games are there for the perfect family vacation. We have recently added a smart TV to the bedroom. We do welcome "small" family pets ($75 non-refundable fee) "Free Wi-Fi" We also have a cabin next door that sleeps 4 for larger groups called, Fishy Business.

I provide coffee for your quiet mornings on the front or back porch while you encounter the birds, deer, and sometimes even a fox. Enjoy!

Family farm with open space to enjoy picnics, campfires, activities and 200 acres of woods easily accessible for walks or hikes and a mini cave that children and adults can explore and a stream for fishing/wading and swimming. *For larger groups, we own another BnB, within walking distance, that sleeps 11 guests and may access to all the same activities; fire pit, farm animals and free range chickens add a rural flavor that appeals to adults and children alike. We are just 10 minutes from Bowling Green and less than 30 minutes from the corvette Museum, historic downtown Bg, and lost river cave.
