Welcome to our house in the woods! 12 acres surrounded by trees and above a series of waterfalls along the Stony Kill, which runs all the way from Minnewaska State Park through our property and into downtown Accord. You can sit in a hammock outside, soak in our hot tub while listening to the river, or chill out inside with some tunes or the TV projector. Budding entomologists will enjoy the endless procession of bugs, ants, spiders, ticks, and other creepy-crawlies that is part of River House.

You will see the original bones of the house through some of the lower ceilings & doorways on the 1st floor which gives this gem uniqueness. Lots of beautiful natural light. 200+ sq.ft screen enclosed porch, wood stove, outdoor fire pit, updated kitchen, 3 bdr & 2 bth, games-a-plenty, books-a plenty, & over 2,200+ sq.ft to enjoy. Positioned 90 minutes away from NYC, the house is central to everything you want to do in Upstate NY.

I turned this abandoned garage into a little refuge for those wanting a peaceful homebase while exploring the area and/or the writers/artists/seekers wanting solitude to explore the territories within. Close to my house but with its own driveway, it's got a kitchenette, composting toilet, pellet stove & soaking tub. Walking distance to Westwind Orchard, Arrowood Brewery & Hollengold Farm. A stone's throw are Stonehill Barn & Inness. 15 min drive to Minnewaska State Park.

Wake to forest views in a modern A-frame with 2 bedrooms, including a cozy loft. Hike nearby trails, soak in the cedar hot tub, or visit local breweries. In summer, barbecue or gather at the fire pit; in winter, warm up by the wood stove on the 2-acre Catskills property. Note: Guests must be 13 or older, and all teenagers must be listed on the reservation. Pets are welcome with prior approval, agreement to pet rules, and payment of the pet fee. Little Minka - Japanese House in the Woods

Little Minka. A serene Japanese folk house nestled on 10 acres of private woodland and streams. Embracing the Wabi-Sabi, Little Minka is unique, handcrafted using Japanese traditional carpentry joinery methods. Soaring ceilings, shoji, and tatami complete the interior. Outside there's a fire pit, open cooking area. We have a wood fired hot tub available on request from March - November. We have Japanese bathroom products in partnership with sowakanyc that guests can experience.

Explore infinity under a blanket of stars and share stories gathered around the firepit. When you’re called inside, grab a book and settle in by the fireplace. Then cook a meal in our well-equipped kitchen or on the grill, and enjoy it on the patio overlooking the property.
