Local hangout, cheap priced beer, live music, fun patio, microbrews on tap, and a sweet bar dog that will greet you upon entrance. Good place to just chill. It does have a small parking lot so carpool if possible.

Feeling lucky? If you don't mind a walk, you can reach the casino on foot from the house. A DJ plays music at the bar on Friday and Saturday nights (limit on people on the dance floor due to COVID). A bit smoky so if you're sensitive to cigarrette smoke you may want to skip this visit. They do have a non-smoking section but you can still get a whiff of it.

Make sure to fill up with gas before you head on the road. Gas stations en route to the beach can be hard to find.

Allow yourself some extra time if traveling on Hwy 101. The traffic gets backed up on summer and holidays .

Restaurants
If you wish to dine in at any of our local restaurants, make sure to make reservations early. Due to COVID seating is limited and it's difficult to find a place to dine without reservations. This is particularly challenging for large groups and families.

Whale watching tours
Tours are best July through September. Make sure to book early! Most tours operate out of Depot Bay (16 miles South from the Seadrift house on Hwy 101).
