John and Lorinda have been wonderful hosts – nothing too much trouble. Huge thanks for the two for one voucher which we used at Eden Project – a must visit. We would also recommend the Lost Gardens of Heligan – our little girl ran and ran all day. We really enjoyed Crantock and Holywell beaches and if you’re a National Trust member – Lanhydrock. The cottage is great and a lovely base from which to explore this beautiful part of the world. We hope to come back soon.

Nanpean has 2 churches and a small Chinese takeaway. All of these are within a short walking distance from Sticky's Place.
Other amenities that can be found locally to Nanpean are a medical centre which controls a cluster of doctors surgeries very close by. A supermarket can be found only a very short 10 minute car journey to the local villages of Roche or St Dennis. A chemist can be found in St Dennis, as well as a Barclays bank.
A walkers trail can be found in and around Nanpean which gives you the chance to have a insight in relation to the clay mining industry.
